Charlton, Gloucestershire (Heritage Site)
Charlton was a village in Gloucestershire. Most of the village was demolished in the 1940s to make way for an extension to Filton Airfield. A few buildings from the south of the village survive along the southern perimeter of the now former airfield. The name has been used on the post-war estates Charlton Mead (south of the airfield) and Charlton Hayes (north of the airfield). The site is within the council area of Bristol.
