Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire   (Town)

Royal Leamington Spa (commonly known as Leamington Spa or just Leamington) is a spa town in Warwickshire, on the River Leam. Originally a small village called Leamington Priors, it grew into a spa town in the 18th century following the popularisation of its water which was reputed to have medicinal qualities. The town contains especially fine ensembles of Regency architecture and several large public parks: Jephson Gardens, the Royal Pump Room Gardens and Victoria Park. Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent   (Town)

Royal Tunbrdige Wells is a town in Kent. The town came into being as a spa in Georgian times and had its heyday as a tourist resort under Richard (Beau) Nash when the Pantiles and its chalybeate spring attracted visitors who wished to take the waters. The town remains a popular tourist destination. Most of the old town lies in Kent, though the Kent / Sussex border runs through the original centre of the town.
