Rose Low, Derbyshire   (Prehistoric Burial Site)

Rose Low (aka Boars Low) is a Bronze Age bowl barrow near Tissington, Derbyshire. The monument includes a large, well preserved mound with a diameter of about 80ft and standing at a height of about 10ft. This was partially excavated by Lucas in the 1860s and found to contain a contracted inhumation and a cremation burial, both of which indicated a Bronze Age date. It is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).

Rosecarrock, Cornwall   (Mediæval House)

Rosecarrock (aka Roscarrock) is a mediæval manor house near Port Isaac, Cornwall. It was mentioned in Domesday under the name 'Roscaret'. The name is Cornish for 'rocky hill'. The estate was home to the Roscarrock family from the 11th century until 1673. The family, which took its surname from the place, produced notable members of parliament and sheriffs in Cornwall during the 1400s and 1500s. The current house was built around the 14th century and the estate was used as a filming location for the TV series 'Poldark', where it served as the fictional 'Nampara'. It is within the council area of Cornwall.

Rosemount House, Down   (Georgian House)

Rosemount House (aka Grey Abbey House) is a mid 18th-century Palladian mansion near Greyabbey, County Down. It is within the townland of Rosemount, in the civil parish of Grey Abbey. The house was built in the 1760s by William Montgomery, whose father had acquired the estate from a kinsman in 1718. It was constructed on the site of an earlier dwelling, which itself had replaced a 17th-century manor house. It is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
