Bannockburn Battlefield, Stirlingshire   (Battlefield)

Bannockburn Battlefield is the site of the Battle of Bannockburn (23-24th June 1314) near Whins of Milton, Stirlingshire. The battle was between the armies of Robert the Bruce and Edward II, during the First War of Scottish Independence. It was a decisive victory for Bruce, forming a major turning point in the war. The battlefield is within the council area of Stirling.

This location relates to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre on Ambion Hill, near Richard's Well, where, according to legend, Richard III drank on the day of the battle. Bradfield House, Devon   (Mediæval House)

Bradfield House is a historic country house near Uffculme, Devon. The manor of Bradfield was from the 13th century until the early 20th century the principal seat of the Walrond family. The oldest surviving part of the house is the mediæval great hall with an early 16th-century hammerbeam roof. The house was substantially enlarged in about 1860 by Sir John Walrond Walrond, 1st Baronet to the design of the architect John Hayward. It is surrounded by parkland which retains many magnificent specimen cedar trees. The house is within the council area of Mid Devon (Devon).

Documentary evidence suggests that Braunton Great Field was divided into strips by 1202, and the divisions could date back as far as AD855. Church Field, Sussex   (Historic Countryside)

Church Field (aka Lupin Field) is a former rectors' glebe alongside St Peter's Church, Terwick, Sussex. Reverend George Laycock, Rector of Terwick for over 40 years until his death in 1933, planted the field with lupins which self-seeded and bloomed year after year. The field is now in the care of the National Trust which manages it in a similar manner to a traditional hay meadow. It is within the council area of Chichester (West Sussex).
