York Cross, Yorkshire
York Cross (aka Jack Cross) is a mediæval wayside cross on Sneaton High Morr, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The cross was a waymarker on the mediæval Abbey road from Whitby to Pickering, via Falling Foss and Ellerbeck. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
