Yoker is an area in the far west of Glasgow, on the north bank of the Clyde with Clydebank to its east. It lies in that part of Renfrew civil parish, in Renfrewshire, which lies north of the Clyde. From the fourteenth century, the Renfrew Ferry has linked Yoker with Renfrew on the south bank. It is within the council area of City of Glasgow.
