Yarm, Yorkshire
Yarm is a small town lying on the south bank of the River Tees in the Cleveland area of Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The oldest part of the town around High Street is situated in a loop of the Tees. Several newer estates lie to the south of the old town. The High Street is notable for its Georgian-style old buildings, with their red pantile roofs. The town is within the council area of Stockton-on-Tees.
