Wymondham, Norfolk
Wymondham is a historic market town town in Norfolk. The community developed during the Anglo-Saxon period and expanded with the establishment of a priory in 1107 and a market in 1204. The ancient centre, much damaged in a fire of 1615, contains landmarks and listed buildings that include the twin-towered Wymondham Abbey. The town is within the council area of South Norfolk (Norfolk).
