Woodside, Armagh
Woodside is an urban area in Portadown, County Armagh. It is within the townland of Garvaghy, in the civil parish of Drumcree. The Woodside estate was built from the late 1940s. It's name derived from a house beside a wood, called Woodside, in Garvaghy townland. Later in the 19th century the area around the house became the Woodside Nursery, on which land the estate was later built. The area is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
