Woodcross, Staffordshire
Woodcross is a former hamlet that is now an urban area in the north-west of Coseley, Staffordshire. The earliest reference is to 'Woodcrosse ' from 1614. Woodcross remained a rural village until the 1930s, from which time Coseley district council undertook large-scale housing development. It is within the council area of Wolverhampton.
