Woodchurch, Cheshire

Woodchurch is a former village that is now an urban area on the western edge of Birkenhead, Cheshire. The area was purchased by Birkenhead Corporation in 1926. Construction of a new housing estate began immediately after World War II. It is within the council area of Wirral.
