Wood Barrow, Devon / Somerset
Wood Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Challacombe that lies on the Devon - Somerset border. The barrow survives as a circular mound measuring up to 80ft in diameter and 8ft high. The surrounding quarry ditch from which material to construct the mound was derived survives as a buried feature. It is within the council area of North Devon (Devon).
