Wivelscombe Barrow, Somerset
Wivelscombe Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Treborough, Somerset. It is situated on the summit of a broad ridge which extends along the Brendon Hills area of Exmoor. The barrow is formed by a circular mound the dimensions of which have previously been recorded as 65ft in diameter and 7ft high. The mound is surrounded by a ditch from which material was quarried for the construction of the mound. It is within the council area of Somerset.
