Winchmore Hill, Middlesex
Winchmore Hill is a suburban village in Middlesex. It is first record in a deed dated 1319 as 'Wynsemerhull'. A Quaker community was in existence here by 1688 when a Friends’ meeting house was built, the present meeting house dating from 1790.
