Winceby Battlefield, Lincolnshire
Winceby Battlefield is the site of the Battle of Winceby 11th October 1643, located near Winceby, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. A Royalist relieving force under the command of Sir William Widdrington was defeated by the Parliamentarian cavalry of the Earl of Manchester. The site is within the council area of East Lindsey (Lincolnshire).
