Willington Quay, Northumberland

Willington Quay is an urban area in Northumberland, between Wallsend and North Shields. It is located on the north bank of the River Tyne opposite Jarrow. Robert Stephenson, the famous railway engineer, was born in Willington Quay in 1803. It is within the council area of North Tyneside.
