Wigmore Abbey, Herefordshire

Wigmore Abbey is a ruined abbey of Canons Regular, lying north of Wigmore, Herefordshire. The abbey was founded by Hugh de Mortimer in 1179 and flourished until it was destroyed in the Dissolution in 1530. Some of the monastic buildings were incorporated into The Grange. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
