Whitworth, Lancashire
Whitworth is a small town in Lancashire, set amongst the hills at the edge of the Pennines. During the 19th century Whitworth grew from a village, spreading north and south along the Whitworth valley to form a town. The town is within the council area of Rossendale (Lancashire).
