Whiterock, Down

Whiterock is a small village, lying on the western shore of Strangford Lough in County Down. It is within the townland of Killinakin, in the civil parish of Killinchy. The White Rock was a large bolder on a small headland, located where Strangford Lough Yacht Club is now. Aside from Whiterock House, the village is entirely the result of development from the mid 20th century onwards. The village is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
