Whirlow, Yorkshire
Whirlow is a former village that is now an outer suburb of Yorkshire, in the West Riding. Regarded as an affluent suburb, in the Victorian era it became home to many of Sheffield's Nouveau Riche. Among its historic buildings are Parkhead Hall, Whirlow Grange, Whirlow Court and Whirlow Brook Hall. It is within the council area of Sheffield.
