Whalley Range, Lancashire
Whalley Range is a suburban area in the south-west of Manchester, Lancashire. One of Manchester's first suburbs, it was built from 1836 by Manchester banker and businessman Samuel Brooks. The area is characterised by large detached and semi-detached Victorian houses. It is within the council area of Manchester.
