Weybourne Priory, Norfolk

Weybourne Priory is a ruined Augustinian monastic house in Weybourne, Norfolk. The Priory of The Blessed Virgin and All Saints is situated in the centre of Weybourne village, on the west side of Spring Beck. It was founded around AD 1200 by Sir Ralph de Meyngaren and dissolved in 1536. The monument includes remains of the priory church dating from the early 13th to the 15th centuries but incorporating parts of an earlier church dated to the 11th century, together with the remains of the conventual buildings to the north of the church and of associated buildings and water management features. The monument is within the council area of North Norfolk (Norfolk).
