Wetherby, Yorkshire
Wetherby is a market town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. It lies on the River Wharfe and has been a crossing point of the river on the Great North Road for centuries. Wetherby Bridge dates from the 13th century but was rebuilt in the 17th century. Wetherby Town Hall (1845) is built of sandstone in the Classical style. The town is within the council area of Leeds.
