Western Howes, Yorkshire
Western Howes is a group of three prehistoric burial mounds on Westerdale Moor, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The round barrows are located on the northern edge of the plateau which forms the central watershed of the North York Moors. They are prominently sited, with the larger two barrows being part of the skyline when viewed from the north. The monument is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
