West Wickham is a large suburban village in Kent. West Wickham, dating from the Saxon period, remained a small rural village until the inter-war period when it saw large-scale suburban development. Wickham Court dates from the time of Henry VII. The Church of St John the Baptist dates from the 13th century, notable for its mediæval stained glass windows.
