West Twyford, Middlesex

West Twyford is an urban area in Middlesex, lying north-west of Park Royal and south-east of Alperton. The area was formerly the extra-parochial place of Twyford, a civil parish from 1866. Twyford Abbey (1807) was built on the site of a former manor house. Much of the housing in the area was originally built by Guinness in order to house employees working in at the brewery in Park Royal. The area is within the council area of Ealing.
