West Hornsey, Middlesex
West Hornsey is an urban area in Hornsey, Middlesex. The area lies along Priory Road, to the west of central Hornsey (the site of the original village of Hornsey). The area was developed in the early 20th century largely on the land of the Priory estate, home of the Warner family from 1796. The Priory itself (which dated from the 1820s) was demolished in 1902 and the roads laid out thereafter. It is within the council area of Haringey.
