Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Wellingborough is a market town in Northamptonshire, on the north side of the River Nene. The town was granted a royal market charter in 1201, by King John. All Hallows Church is the oldest existing building in Wellingborough and dates from c. 1160. The town is noted as a centre of high-performance engineering. The town is within the council area of North Northamptonshire.
