Wath upon Dearne, Yorkshire

Wath upon Dearne is a small town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. It lies on the River Dearne. Once a rural village, it became a coal mining town in the 19th century. Wath upon Dearne centres on Montgomery Square, with the town's main shops and library. To its west is the substantial Norman All Saints Church. The town is within the council area of Rotherham.
