Waringsford, Down

Waringsford is a small village, lying on the Tullinisky Cut of the River Lagan, in County Down. It is within the townlands of Tullinisky and Garvaghy, in the civil parish of Garvaghy. The settlement, once known as Milltown, developed in the 19th century around the mills on the cut. The 21st century has seen significant suburban housing development. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
