Wallbury Camp, Essex

Wallbury Camp is an Iron Age bivallate hillfort near Little Hallingbury, Essex. The fort occupies the end of a spur on the 200ft contour-line, overlooking the valley of the Stort (the border with Hertfordshire). It consists of a roughly pear-shaped area of about 31 acres surrounded by a double rampart. It is within the council area of Uttlesford (Essex).
