Vange is a former village that is now an urban area in Basildon, Essex. Vange is one of four existing villages which were incorporated into the Basildon new town developments. The original village centre, including All Saints Church, lies at the far south of modern Basildon in green fields. It is within the council area of Basildon (Essex).
