Upper Smite, Warwickshire
Upper Smite is a deserted mediæval village near Withybrook in Warwickshire. The village is believed to have been depopulated during the foundation of Combe Abbey in 1150. Traces of the village are visible as earthworks and as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The site is within the council area of Rugby (Warwickshire).
