Upper Short Ditch, Shropshire / Montgomeryshire
Upper Short Ditch is a mediæval dyke, a defensive boundary or earthwork, which spans the Shropshire - Mongomeryshire border north of Bettws-y-crwyn. The feature is c.1,600ft long and crosses the Kerry Ridgeway (the county border and that between England and Wales). It is within the council area of Shropshire.
