Upper Lough Macnean, Fermanagh / Leitrim / Cavan

Upper Lough Macnean is a large freshwater lough which lies partly within County Fermanagh (Northern Ireland) and partly within County Cavan and County Leitrim (in the Republic of Ireland). The Belcoo River flows out of the lough and into Lower Lough Macnean. The are several islands in the lough, including Inishkeen and Kilrooskagh Island in County Fermanagh. The County Fermanagh part of the lough is within the council area of Fermanagh and Omagh.
