Upper Falls, Antrim

Upper Falls is an urban area in south-west Belfast, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Ballymurphy, in the civil parish of Shankill. The area lies around the stretch of the Falls Road between Whiterock Road and Andersonstown Road. Belfast City Cemetery and Milltown Cemetery both opened in 1869. Falls Park which was established in 1873. St Louise's Comprehensive College was established in 1958. Upper Falls is within the council area of Belfast.
