Upper Elmers End, Kent

Upper Elmers End is a former hamlet that is now a south-western suburb of Beckenham, Kent. Elmers End railway station opened in 1864 to the north of the hamlet then marked by Ordnance Survey as 'UpperElmEnd', lying to the south-west of Eden Park. Upper Elmers End remained a separate hamlet until the 1930s when it saw large-scale suburban development. The area is within the council area of Bromley.
