Upper Church Village, Glamorgan

Upper Church Village is a district of the larger village and electoral ward of Church Village. The area known as Upper Church Village is centered around St Illtyd's church. This area was the location of a hamlet known as Llantwit Fardre until recent times. The name 'Llantwit Fardre' is now usually applied to the village to the south-west of Church Village, this village previously having been known as 'Llantwit'. Upper Church Village is within the council area of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
