Tynewydd, Brecknockshire
Tynewydd is a residential area at the head of the Sirhowy Valley, in the far south of Brecknockshire. It was developed from the mid 20th century, earlier than the neighbouring Waundeg area. Whilst an extension to the existing Nant-y-Bwch village, it is sometimes seen as a separate community. It is within the council area of Blaenau Gwent.
