Turriff, Aberdeenshire
Turriff is a town in Aberdeenshire adjacent to the border with Banffshire. Turriff was notable as the scene of the very first engagements of the Wars of the Three Kingdoms (1639-51). The town is within the council area of Aberdeenshire.
