Tullynakill Church, Down

Tullynakill Church is a ruined 15th-century church in the civil parish of Tullynakill, County Down. It replaced Nendrum in the late 15th century as the parish church site. The ruins are of a gabled rectangular church 40ft x 19ft internally. The original door and window, both blocked up, can be seen in the west gable. The church was renovated in 17th century and abandoned in 1825 when a new one was built to the south. There are graveslabs from 17th century in the graveyard. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
