Tully Castle, Fermanagh

Tully Castle is a ruined 17th-century fortified house and bawn, located on Tully Point in the townland of Tully, County Fermanagh. It was built around 1610 for Sir John Hume who occupied the house until 1641 when it was attacked and burned on Christmas Eve by Rory Maguire and the inhabitants massacred. It was not lived in again. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Fermanagh and Omagh.
