Tripp Barrow, Somerset
Tripp Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Clatworthy, Somerset. It is situated on the summit of a prominent hill overlooking the valleys of the River Tone and a tributary to it. The barrow survives as a circular mound measuring approximately 80ft in diameter and up to 5ft high. The surrounding quarry ditch from which the construction material was derived is preserved as a buried feature. It is within the council area of Somerset.
