Town Walls Tower, Shropshire
Town Walls Tower is a 12th-century tower that once formed part of the mediæval town defences of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Part of the town walls remain next to the building. The walls were built during Henry III's campaign against the Welsh forces. Around 200 years later, Henry IV carried out repairs to the walls and may have added the watchtowers.
