Tower Hill, Lincolnshire
Tower Hill is a mediæval motte castle, located on the south side of Stainby, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Kesteven. Situated toward the top of a steep north-facing slope, the motte takes the form of a subcircular mound surrounded by a ditch. The motte stands up to 10ft in height with a flat top about 65ft in diameter. It is within the council area of South Kesteven (Lincolnshire).
