Thurnscoe, Yorkshire
Thurnscoe is a large village in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The Church of St Helen was built in 812 by the Saxons and rebuilt in 1087 by the Normans, though only the tower of the original structure remains. The village is within the council area of Barnsley.
