Thunder Stone, Westmorland

Thunder Stone is a glacial erratic in Westmorland. It forms part of the 'Shap Stone Avenue'. However, the stone is not set into the ground, but lies on the surface left by the retreating ice and so may not thus be a part of the constructed avenue. It is within the council area of Westmorland and Furness.
Historic England Scheduled Monument 1011637.
