Three Tremblers, Yorkshire
The Three Tremblers is a group of three adjacent prehistoric round barrows, located in Wykeham Forest near Brompton, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The barrows have well-defined earthen mounds which each have hollows in the centre, caused by partial excavation in the past. Partial excavation of one barrow in the 19th century uncovered a cist, which consisted of stone slabs set into the mound, surrounding and covering a burial. The monument is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
