Thornton Hall, Lincolnshire
Thornton Hall is a country house near Thornton Curtis, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. It was built between 1695 and 1700 by Sir Rowland Wynne. It features red brick with limestone ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It has a three-storey, seven-bay plan with a central entrance and is flanked by two low-storey, three-bay pavilions with curved wing walls. Alterations and additions took place in the 18th, 19th & 20th centuries. It is a private residence. It is within the council area of North Lincolnshire.
