Thorncombe Barrow, Somerset
Thorncombe Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow on Thorncombe Hill near Bicknoller, Somerset. The barrow has a mound which measures about 55ft in diameter and is about 5ft high. Surrounding the mound is a ditch from which material was excavated during the construction of the mound. This can be seen at ground level as a shallow depression. It is within the council area of Somerset.
